Luís Paula is a Research Engineer at the Technology Engineering Group. His main responsibilities are designing, testing, and fabricating mixed-signal interfaces (ADCs, amplifiers, filters, current mirrors, others) and optimizing these for low noise and low power operation.
Luís has a Masters of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Aveiro since 2009. Before INL, he had been a biomedical research engineer for three years in brain diseases at the University of Aveiro. After he moved to the industry to be a Hardware Engineer and develop products for several application areas (industrial, automotive, medical, test and measurement). From the end of 2014 until 2021, he has been involved in two different companies developing and introducing consumer products to the market
